[082 - 2000] Successful incubation

The egg has hatched! I’ve finally introduced Lapin! Well, yes, he appeared in comic #42 but that was out of the main storyline... not that the main storyline is exactly straight in terms of time and continuity, but, nyah.
So rather than throwing in another flashback or side story to pass time, I just put that tag at the top of this page. I’d say it took maybe a few days or something to hatch. I still liked the idea of Kiki and/or Emma cuddling the egg while watching TV and some more suspense in general, but as said, this could be dragged out for ages due to my current ‘one comic per month’ approach. In case you were wondering, no one gave any PayPal donations after the last comic.
Random things of note:
* Kiki and Marc’s clothes have changed as days have passed.
* The house does not have a cat but a leftover (or newly bought) kitty-litter tray is being used to hold some bedding for the egg.
* The lamp being used to keep the egg warm is based on one I really own at home.
* I now personally think that this image of Kuro (with a frying pan) should have been swapped with the last image of him two comics ago, for better effect. Ah well.
* Cute spabbit is cute! I still don’t think I’ll ever top the drawing of him I did on the profile page though. Do you think his first squeak is asking Kiki if she’s his mommy?
